Terms of Service
Last updated 22 April 2026
These Terms govern your use of SinguLoom, a curated streaming platform for AI-native films and series operated by [Company name, to be registered]. By creating an account, uploading a release, or watching a film, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must be 16 or older to create a viewer account. You must be 18 or older (and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction) to operate a production company. You're responsible for activity on any account you control.
2. Creator warranties
When you submit a release, you warrant that:
- You own or have licensed every rights-bearing element in the work (footage, audio, music, images, likenesses, scripts).
- You have not used the likeness, voice, or name of any real person without written permission. This is absolute — no inspired-by carve-outs.
- Every AI tool used in the production is disclosed in the release's rights declaration.
- The work is not defamatory, infringing, or illegal in the UK.
- You will respond to takedown requests within 7 days and comply with the outcome.
3. Curation, not open publication
SinguLoom is a curated platform. Submission does not guarantee publication. Every release is reviewed against our moderation rulebook. We may reject, request changes, or remove releases at any time, for any reason consistent with the rulebook. Rejection is not censorship — it is editorial judgment.
4. Payouts and revenue
Creator revenue shares are documented in your company settings and operate on a completion-weighted basis — see monetization.md for the model. Payouts are run via Stripe Connect on the 1st of each month for balances above £50. You are responsible for your own income tax. We are not your employer.
5. Takedowns and appeals
Rights holders can request takedown of infringing content via /legal/takedown. Creators may appeal any moderation decision through the appeal route surfaced inside the dashboard.
6. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, SinguLoom's aggregate liability to any user is capped at the amount paid by (or payable to) that user in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
