Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 22 April 2026
SinguLoom is a curated home for AI-native film. This policy describes what is out of scope — the things that get releases rejected or accounts banned. It complements the moderation rulebook (the R1–R6 codes) by spelling out the “absolutely not” cases.
Never allowed
- Non-consensual likeness. No using the face, voice, or name of a real person — living or recently deceased — without their written permission. No “AI parodies” of public figures. No “inspired by a real person” loopholes. This is absolute.
- Sexual or intimate imagery of real people. Permanent ban. Reported to law enforcement where we have a legal duty.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Permanent ban. Reported to NCMEC / IWF / NCA as required. Zero tolerance, zero review — instant removal on detection.
- Incitement, terror, extremism. Content designed to recruit, organise, or glorify terror, mass violence, or genocide.
- Rights washing.Claiming you hold rights you don't (music, footage, likenesses). Repeat offence results in account ban plus forwarding to rights-holder counsel.
- Hate content.Content that dehumanises or targets people based on race, religion, gender identity, sexuality, disability, or nationality. “Edgy” is not a defence.
- Deceptive political content. Synthetic media that fabricates statements by real political figures or officials, outside clearly labelled parody with signed consent.
Curatorial rejections (not bans)
These are rejection reasons, not account-ending. Creators can address the issue and resubmit. Full code reference in the moderation rulebook:
- Incomplete rights or AI-tool disclosure (R1, R2)
- Technical quality below threshold — audio, pacing, artwork (R3)
- Duplicate or spam-like submissions (R4)
- Not in platform format — e.g. raw test renders, non-narrative demos (R5)
- Manual review escalation (R6)
Platform conduct
- Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Don't impersonate other creators or SinguLoom staff.
- Don't game completion analytics (coordinated watch rings, bot traffic).
- Don't abuse moderators or other creators in messages or comments.
Enforcement
Consequences range from a warning to permanent ban and forfeiture of pending earnings, depending on severity and pattern. Serious cases skip the warning. All enforcement actions are logged to the audit log and subject to the appeal route in the dashboard.
